navara gearbox removal
Hi,i have a 2003 navara 4x4 pickup (brother in laws actually)that i wish to replace the gearbox in.I am experienced in this sort of job but not Navara's specifically. Is there anything that is really difficult,ie is the access ok for the bell housing bolts, starter motor, clutch release mech, etc.I'll be doing this with help on the ground ie no four post ramp just heavy duty drive on ramps ,trolley jacks etc,is this advised or is the box too heavy too remove without a four poster & transmission jack?
kind regards tim |
