sheila rang me when i got home ( she had gone to tescos to get some shopping for our holiday ) ....

" pete , ive got a big red light on the dashboard "

" dont panic love , what does it look like ? "

" looks like a picture of a battery "

so i went down to tescos because her disco wouldnt start

turns out the alternator drive belt had snapped

i put the jump leads on it and we got it home , never rains but it pours huh ?

Great, how many would recognise the symbol for a battery.
Most women think that batteries are round.

I was thinking of electric tooth brushes.
