Tyres and speedo
HI all just a new owner of a terrano II on a Y reg ,just a few questions hope you all can help.
1st speedo is 7 mph out is it the tyres at 37mph on th clock i am only doing 30mph. tyres fitted are 235/65/16 r16 if it is the tyres is the clock ajustable or do i just live with it. 2nd low clutch hight if its the same as landrover just a bleed should cure it? on looking in the master cylinder the fluid is black and looks to have jelly in it? wiggle the old finger in it jellyfied. not seen that before. also there is two bleed nipples one one master and one on the slave. the pipes go into a T piece one pipe to master one to slave and a thicker on going to the back some were? has any one got any spare wheel nuts as i need 4 because the vehicle came with lock nuts but no key. lastly for now is there any get togethers or clubs near Scunthorpe. Cheers laurie. |

Speedos are always out by 5mph either way for some reason so thats normal & nothing to worry about
Just change & re-bleed the brakes for piece of mind Wheel nuts are on average about £1.25 from a decent motor factors Have a look in the said areas for meets plus google |

i think it suppose to dampen the clutch pedal some how, they tend to rust and leak, i replaced mine but some members have done away with all together, just bleed the slave cylinder and see how you go,
