Default Phone Scam warning

I usually ignore this sort of thing, but my brother sent it to me and he's kind of an IT genius so it's real. http://www.digitaltoast.co.uk/
Just click on the link or copy and paste into your browser. It's a website which tells the story of this scam and several others, there's nothing on there to harm your computer !

Good link, we've been getting these calls but we don't answer them because we have a ID caller so every phone number that phones us will be displayed

Yep been around for a while. I've not had a call myself but I know of others. Worst thing is that they don't hang up so when you try and phone out for help you can't!!!!

A similar trick to that was used saying they were from BT and they were cutting your phone off unless you pay an amount that you supposedly owe!. The person on other line asks you to put your phone down and try to make a call and then they call you back saying that they had cut your phone are you going to pay.

Love these phone scams, and unwanted sales calls. My responses range from screaming abuse to long periods of near silence. We have it easy as the phone is in my fiancees name, and she never answers it, so when they ask for Mr (Her surname) we know it's a sales call or a scam.

Ask them to show you their ID to proove who they are!!
Oh they can't there on the phone, tell them sh!t!!
If they persist ask them for their name address and phone number..
Ask who their curent phone service provider is and tell them you can offer them a better deal!!
Ask them to confirm their bank details and sexual preferences!
Ask for religious beliefs and tell them the are wrong and they will come back as the turd on your shoe!!!

If they have not already hung up!!!!!!!!!!!!
