Angry Piggin ebay !

Bought a drag link last week, one rubber split. Seller wants it back at my expense for a refund of the item cost only !
Bought two headlights this week, one came with a damaged bracket. No mention of it in the description, seller won't reply.
What is wrong with people ?

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG GGGGGHHHH

1. seller HAS to also refund the postage if the goods are faulty. (Sale of Goods act.)

2. unless it states in the return policy that you have to pay for the postage you can return any item within 14 days for any reason and they have to refund the postage as well. (distance selling act)

start a paypal dispute with both sellers and write a letter to trading standards

go in hard or you will get nowhere.

Darwin is spot on, but isn't it a shame we have to work so hard just to get the service and goods we have paid for and expected

Thanks Darwin - disputes file already. One of them is a business seller, the other is pretending not to be, either way, I'm not going to risk losing the items and my money - I'll get by with my feedback intact

Plank that's my thoughts exactly. I used to work in a bike breakers and some of the stuff they used to send out was complete junk, I had to leave in the end as I fell out with the manager over it. I just can't stitch people up like that.

I get really wound up when people blatantly lie to me, especially when there's nothing I can do about it.

Lesson learned ?
Probably not

On a much brighter note, churpy phoned me this evening to tell me the bargain tyre I bought off him is on the way !

That's cheered me right up.

I like this forum !

Just spent a whole calendar month trying to get hold of a couple of bits I bought off ebay. The fella lied and pissed me around from start to finish. Winds me up rotten.

Business sellers only, and if they say return post is the buyers responsibility in the advert, you're buggered.

What annoys me most is that I've been done time and time again on ebay and I just never learn !

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/front-grille-/...item43a1ef7b1d

or this ?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/terrano-headli...item43a1ef8563

coz they're both busted !

And he had the cheek to say the post office or me must have broke it, or that I was trying it on and wanted to send my old parts back to him.
