i'd prefer the manual over auto any day.

apart from the mpg and the lesser towing weights... you just got more driving control with a manual box

didnt realise that the 4.2 was available in the y61, this must be an early one.

pretty sure auto doesnt effect tow weight on trols, they are all plated at
3500 kg trailer gross weight.

mpg , dunno, but round 20-22 is about average on the 3.0 zd tdi.

NIce motor I have seen a few but this has been the best!

4.2 Diesel with Turbo with Intercooler and auto If that dosen't pull more than a std troll I'll eat my hat!! - Plated weights the same 3,500Kg
Mpg - So what!!!!

You wouldn't get a Landcruiser amazon in the same condition for that!!

I'd rather do towing with an auto

When i finally find LWB #3 & don't sell it its got to be a Auto

till you have tried towing with a t2 auto..... find me a manual t2 in nice nick and i'll swap it for the auto if you want to try .... lol
