andy towed his 12/14 foot single axle and got about 12mpg from sheffield
to wickstead, dumped it as soon as could for a td5 disco series 2. loved the mav but not its thirst...

further they are essentially front wheel drive, no low box
and rear axle electronic/viscous arrangement. think freelander. not seen one with a twin axle, mind would need to have a fuel bowser in tow behind that then.

MPG looks dreadful, I hope to get 24 mpg hauling my 2 tonne boat soon, I'll try and check it.. Probably closer to 20mpg.... Regards, Rustic
