User Names Not a joke or fun but where else to start this thread
Like some e-mail address's I often wonder what evokes some of the user names ?
Is solarman a whiz on solar energy cells ? Does Zippy watch Fireball XL5 or was that Zooney on his way home? I will start the ball rolling - I call myself "Macabethiel" after McCabe Thiele Method used to calculate the height of distilation columns or H.E.T.P's. I am a qualified Chemical Engineer who never got to do any engineering and so as not to waste my 4 years at Uni: I started using engineering names as passwords etc. As I am a poor speller at the best of time it was shortened to be what it now is. Do you have a story to tell ? |

My user name was RedMavTaj as the car is a red Maverick reg number TAJ470R (my surname is TAYLOR) but as I now have a Series Landrover too it didn't tie in with both cars .
So at the tender age of 52 MudLifeCrisis seemed a lot more accurate ;O) Brian |

Haha!
Muckypup - When I was a wee chiddler and had been playing out on the farm I would always return home covered in mud or cow muck. My mum would always say "come on Muckypup, time for your bath"... And seeing I am still quite youthful (in mind, perhaps not body) and love getting down and dirty I though it quite fitting |

My original username in 2005 when I joined the site first time was Croupade...I lapsed my membership because in those days half the guys on here had their heads jammed firmly up their arses - it was NOT a fun place to be.
Rejoined a couple of years ago and added the 'la' as my original name was still showing as live and unusable.... As for what 'croupade' means, you'll have to google it LOL.....and its not the horsey one.... |
