Appleby Fair 2010
We are off to Appleby Fair (as is the norm for us this time of year) on Tuesday. If you have never been you realy ought to give it a go! Here's a nice friendly local lad who sat on my bonnet for a good half hour in 2008

but the atmosphere was so tense i was scared to let the car move even a bit. The police man picked fight with a gang of big lads in a Navara and it almost turned into the wild west!

My Swift Conquerer was found there last year. The police were so excited when they called me to say they had found it until I pointed out that it had been stolen in 2003.
At the time I gave the reg number of the car that was used and the travellers site I'd seen the car come out of but they chose to do nothing to follow it up , prefering to wait 6 years for it to drive up to them ;O) Brian |

I have sen the police there with hand hed scanners searching for Cris chips in caravans as they enter and the dieisel dipping brigade are allways out in force. It seems to me that they found it by accident and then claimed a result! |
