We purchased a Hitachi 42” LCD, free view, full HD1080p for £480 earlier this year cracking telly and no probs viewing in our front room.

I would think being 2 years old it would only be HD ready 720p, if so, may be worth saving a few moor penny’s and buying a new full HD in the sales.

Theyre selling their pub and having a top clear out.

Just got home with it and some other bits and pieces £250 (and had a quick pint)

The tele is less than 18 month old 43'' diag viewing area and a bloody great pic.

Over the moon

thanks for the info I've just had a crash course in flat screen tv's
