Default 13 pin Caravan Plug

Just got another van and it has a 13 pin euro plug. They gave me an adaptor 13 pin to 12n/12s which does the job but got loads of spare hanging cable to hook up. Can you wire the 12n and 12s wires from the car into a 13 pin socket.

On the new 13 pin both wires go into the same plug so all you have to do is remove the old two and rewire the new one in its place I can getyou a socket if you need it

only prob is what if you need to tow a 12n trailer or light board.
would sitck with adaptor or change plug on van, or suppose
add euro 13 to car retaining old ones but might look cumbersome.
