Where was it? it has it's landing gear down so must be landing being so high with the gear down. do a search for the airfield where you were.
Jim T PS looks like a cargo or Surveillance type of plane. |

It had just took off for the second time, the airfield is at Warton, where they build the Euro fighter, our van is stored just across the road.

The Sentry seems to be taking over but they fly both out of Waddington. They have great big gates seperating the USAF area from the RAF, the gates have truck wheels on them they are so big.

Cut some fuel tankers up from there many years ago, they was brought up at night with a police escort, they was massive, the tractor unitshad their own workshop at the back.

flying time bombs i believe leak fuel badly, recall back in 80s should have
gone awax from states but polictics prevented. sure a nimy crashed recently due to leak, wasnt pretty.
