Default Bridge Building my style

Ok so let's go. read in a thread somewhere about building bridges and so forth so let's do it my way. Do not spam this thread and do not **** about or you will be told exactly what i think of you.
right enough speil lets go

I'm john, I'm 21. and single (anyone got any daughters my age) I drive a Nissan Terrano/ Ford Maverick mis-match. I enjoy Nascar, off-roading and most motorsports. I don't mind knuckling down to help someone out but i won't stand for anyones sh1t. I am keen to meet people on this site and maybe (if at all possible) build some lasting friendships. Now i am active on many other 4x4 sites but i am also active on this so no bull-shit about being on rival sites. I enjoy a good stella or 5 as well as sloe gin in a beer garden. I work (losely) in farming and i can sometimes rabal on abit about farming and stuff. So that's enough about me.

Pull up a seat, crack open the beers and let's get on with what this site is about.

at last... some straight talking

ok well im colin, im here for the fun and to do up the truck to how i want it to look. when i bought it i had a clear image of how i wanted it to be, some things have turned out better than hoped others im still working on

often mis understood ... i like to understand things and see how they work. when i dont understand things i ask. often i might keep asking questions that might seem obvious to some, ill take that information and use it to see if there is another way that suits what im trying to do.
online is not as straight forward as being shown how it works. so i dont always get i first time

team wales. is just a bunch of lads who share the same interest, off roading and tinkering with the trucks, its that simple
nice bunch of lads who would sit on a mountain with you all night if you were stuck, so there is big trust and respect there.
having said that they are big enough and stupid enough to speak for themselves. (paul being the big one ) and yes i do like a good joke

personally i dont like bosses or leaders. i had all that in my scootering years and its not nice, everyone deserves a chance to shine and fit in. i prefer straigt talk and dont get offended that easy. if something bothers me, i either tell them or try again tomorrow, after all everyones entitled to a rough day now and again
christ even im not perfect

so im here to learn, help and get help, try new ideas and have fun

Thumbs up

I'm Liam and I'm hoping that you can build a BIG bridge so I can go over there and meet you all.I came on here to find help if I have a problem, luckily my T2 is going ok at the moment so no help needed, yet. Enjoy the banter and finding out what everyone is up to over there. If I can find a good deal on the ferries I might just arrive on someone's doorstep without notice. Sometimes wish it was cheaper to travel over but if any of you are planning a trip over here let me know and we might be able to meet up.

Hey John,

I am Bryn, I am new to the world of 4X4 as you will see from my posts asking basic questions. I made the daft choice of plunging for a Jap import Terrano R3M, in my own opinion it looks nicer.

Well, I work for the NHS in IT, I like sports cars especially the Nissan Skyline (ex owner) but where I live dictates I have a 4X4, love a good bottle of red wine or two on the weekend, just retaken cycling (as a kid i was very good), manager of my lads under 9's football club, but other than that I am generally a boring git.

Welcome and feel free to abuse me with random PM's of good jokes.

Bryn

Yes, two, what's your annual income ?

You asked

Anyhow, I'm a little over double your age though I like to think I've weathered reasonably well . I've got an 02 teranno and love it. I bought it solely as a tug for a big caravan because Evans Halshaw were stuck with it when everyone was tightening their belts and I got it for below even ebay price its nice to beat them now and then.

However as an ex engineer I'm into things mechanical and am now into the car in its own right, I'm wanting to get some green laning done.

The missus drives a nice sensible 09 plate comfy petrol car that I'm only allowed in clean and the dogs arent allowed anywhere near...............yet

I'll get her into an xtrail for best yet.

Sure you would be more than welcome over here, anytime. Next to Ireland I would choose Scotland to live in,beautiful country too, although I wouldn't rule out Wales if they got rid of the Team Wales nutters.

Ey-up. I'm Jon and I'm new to this forum and 4X4's. Had my T2 (98 R plate) for 3 weeks now, wanted a fouby to give the hound somewhere comfortable to ride for our jaunts into the country (talking about the dog here, NOT the missus..! ).

I know bugger all about car mechanics so I'm here to ask questions, bug people and hopefully learn from the answers I get.
