Default Petrol/diesel prices

I use this site to find the cheapest garage in my area,or if i'm visiting somewhere!!!

I use that too, the data is gathered using fuel cards so its all current. I find it handy for finding LPG garages too as some of the on line databases are way out of date, fuel prices is never more than 7 days.

Simon,

Have you tried www.autogasfinder.co.uk they do a download to your satnav of all LPG locations. Obviously only as accurate as last update but its available for Tomtom, Garmin, and Nav man.

Can anybody tell me why diesel is so much more expensive than petrol?it used to be the other way round,we are now upto £104.9 in my town!!
Yet 98.9 for unleaded?
I've been filling up in Edinburgh which is 96.9 for diesel when i'm up visiting the inlaws.
Think the vegi oil might be going in soon...lol

Just been to fill ours up today & it's jumped from 94.9p L to 97.9p L in the last 10 days 8O I think they've put the price up because more people now drive diesels :roll:

few years back they exstolled virtues of diesel cars cheaper fuel,more mpg etc now theyve got everyone into them slam dunk time got u by short and curlys now diesels are killers dirty cancer causing fumes etc killing the enviroment! but what they really mean is petrol revenue went down an they needed to claw money back somewhere

Went to Tescos,it said 99.9L on the board but when i picked the nozzle up it came up 96.9L Didn't say enything.. : : 8) 8)
