Still no results but we do no that we finished outsie the top 6 as those awards were rpesented at the dinner last night.
We did however pick up the award for 1st on the Night Navigation section so didn't do that bad. We lost a fair few marks on Saturday on a couple of micky mouse sections where tbh we really couldn't be bothered. A lot of this years event was like a treasure hunt and trying to spot bits of number plates (codeboards) that the organisers had hidden all over (40 ft into woods) inside pipes up tress etc etc just got tedious and we drove too quick (20-25mph) and missed a fair few, really needed to drive at 10mph or less to spot em but even then to do so the driver needs to be looking sideways, up, down, backwards etc on his side and tbh its a bit dangerous - good chance of driving off the road whilst not looking imho. |
