Default Mrs 3Ltr Mot

Just realised Mrs motor is due MOT 10 August, normally only day I can have it is a Sunday but this Sunday I am away to collect 2tonnes of logs, so going to have to commandeer it on another day we will see, Rick

Had the T2 on the hoist today and gave it a look over, have to say it is still very clean, needed a couple of cable ties on the fuel pipes, tail lights were playing about a bit so look at them tomorrow, more importantly I checked the fuel filter and it was black so changed that and will have to further look into the state of the tank etc, gave it another dose of bug killer, more tomorrow, Rick

OK well after pulling the pick up unit from the tank, on closer inspection found lots of black gunge in the seam between top and bottom halves of the tank, like most T2 tanks it has started to expand on the join, so at a later date will have the tank off and repair it, for now have run a new feed line from pick up to filter as was seeing air in the line, all clear now, MOT booked noon Thursday 4th August, Rick

Not really Jim, interesting thing was as I got there a silver round head light T2 was coming off the hoist, started to have a chat with the driver only to discover he was a garage worker and bought it in for MOT for the customer so he was not in the slightest interested in chatting with me, never mind, Rick
