Question What you up to this weekend?

Just got back home from Nottingham went with my brother to see "Australian Pink Floyd " at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall.

It was brilliant - felt quite at home with the Grey Haired audience average age was wrong side of 70!

I just switched off my hearing aids as definitely didn't need them.lol

Life in the old dog yet ehh Ted

Well I’m on standby for work all weekend

Still when I can muster the enthusiasm I intend to wash my Terrano as it’s back from welding so don’t want any metal dust rusting. Will also test that the water leak is fixed too.
Also got a little wiring in my van conversion for some lighting as well.

Going to make a start on making room under the bonnet for the second battery install.
Hoping I can make room on the drivers side iner wing so I don't have to mess with the pipework for the snorkel.

I’ve seen that done before, wasn’t it someone on here? Looked a neat job too. Is this on your blue truck or the camper project?

Yeah got the idea from a member on here, can't remember his user name though
This is on the blue one.
Run a fair bit of kit including the winch, fridge, aux lights and various chargers for phones, tablet etc so more power wouldn't go a miss.

Sounds like a great project does that Elty

So both the Terrano and the Maverick washed, Mav hardly goes out but gets covered in dust. It still starts and drives great, think we are due some rain soon so might take it out when the salt has been washed away.

Made a start moving stuff around in the engine bay for the dual battery install.
Radiator expansion tank swapped for the one from the breaker Maverick and moved to the passenger side.

Got to move the power steering reservoir back and fabricate a mounting bracket.
Next problem to solve is the screen wash bottle as it's in the way and I need that vital bit of room to fit the battery.

Will have a think about how to overcome this one.
Might modify the tank and fit a different filler neck that I can position in a suitable place.

It’s a difficult thing is the washer tank because of the dual flow washer pump as it means without doing away with nissan wiring/controller/switch you need to keep the motor as is.
