Default Farewell For Now Guys!

Well, Terry went for his MOT today and didn't do well. Tin worm's got him. Inner sills by body mountings, rot by the rear seat belt anchor and several advisories including corrosion.

So, I'm going to cut my losses and get rid, not being a welder or having a best mate who is one. The amount I'm probably going to pay out I reckon would be better going towards another vehicle...as much as that guts me to say, but I think I'm going to have to stay on the right side of 'er indoors and let my head rule my heart.

It's been fun in these parts and thanks for the help and advice guys. Rest assured, if I should happen to end up with another Japanese 4x4 I'll be straight back to pick your wealth of knowledge.

Sorry to hear that, yeah costs can get prohibitively expensive to keep a truck.

Have to agree with Mr Zipp. I'm in need of a few items if they're the correct ones

Wheel centers for one (if the wheels are the same).

Thanks guys.

I'd love to break it, but just don't have the room unfortunately. Irony is, my mechanic mate said the emissions were terrific, engine seems sound as a pound.

Be a good bus for someone with a welder, time and space I reckon. I'll head over into the classifieds section in a day or two once I get my head round it.

Currently scrolling through Auto Trader thinking 'it's not Terry!' , 'not as good as Terry', 'nice motor, but not as sexy as Terry'. Sinead O' Connor's classic tune is reverberating around my mind.

This is a bit like splitting up with someone you really love and then going down the pub on the pull...I'm in a bad place right now, lol.
