Finally Ready For MOT
Finally finished my wifes truck, taken quite some time but we are there. A heck of a lot of new metal at the rear end, new washer pump, 4 new bulbs and a lot of underseal. Had to t cut and polish it along with razor blade the windows due to metal dust. Treated it to a pair of new batteries and our faithful download section to reprogramme the fobs. Its looking really smart now too.
Hopefully take it for testing on Tuesday teatime and leave it with the garage until its ready. Having to let the garage do the ns handbrake as I simply dont have the time. So fingers crossed this week. |

Good luck with the MOT.
I had to do the fob synchronisation thing myself because it hadnt been done. Fortunately the instructions were in the pack so was at least manageable. Might have a quick look to see if I have the same instructions as the site. Might even invest in a spare key ...just in case.. Last edited by PaPaJ0; 18-09-2016 at 16:32. Took far longer than it should have because I have been doing so much for the youth organisation that I volunteer for. Now shes sat under the car port awaiting a week on tuesday, could get it done sooner but Id rather take it to the usual bloke that we know and trust.

I'm the same Jim. I take mine to a garage that I've used for years. I wouldn't trust anyone else. It also costs me the full fifty notes even though it would be cheaper at other garages.
