No it is the throttle strangler valve that is supposed to stop or limit shake on shutdown, Rick

Wind up, never, it is really a butterfly valve in the inlet that opens as soon as you turn the engine, (vacuum) controlled and shuts when you turn off the ignition, supposedly starves the pistons of air so should stop shake, yea right, another Nissan miscalculation, odd that some have it and some do not, so even Nissan engineers could not make up their minds, Rick

Crazy, mine hasn't got one, mine doesnt even have an egr valve, not complaining though
