T31 Side steps fitting kit
Good evening all. I have just bought a fab 2005 Xtrail, really pleased with it. I got my hands on a pair of Nissan side steps from a breakers yard from a 2003 model to put on it. The brackets are all here, the only thing lacking is the M rods........I have asked a Nissan dealer if they get me a kit, alas no they cant. Can anybody help me with details as to how I can get hold of these please? A desperate 1st post really!

Is it just the clamp with the thread on at the end and goes around the chassis?

Welcome to the forum mate. As said not many X trail owners on here. Post some pictures of what you need and someone might be able to help.

Could you not just get some threaded bar and bend it yourself in a vice with some heat, then get a strip of metal cut two holes in it and then get some nuts and washers on it?

The principle sounds easy enough just make sure it is as easy as that and there's no weird shapes in the clamps etc
Most importantly make sure you post some pictures
