A very big thank you from the old chairman!.
Hello all.
Well that’s it, the time has come for me to say thank you to everyone as chairman of this club because as from tomorrow afternoon the new owner will take over. He will no doubt say hello when he’s ready. I hope that you will carry on to support him as much as you have supported me and originally Shark1e (Rob), who made this place possible not only for me but for you and anyone else reading this post. There are just to many members, past and present to say a personal thank you too, so please accept this as my personal thank you to you all especially the members that have been here from the very beginning. Thanks to my moderators, again past and present for there help and advise during my time here. To those that have taken the expense of travelling hundreds of miles to spend time with me and other members at rally’s, Christmas Party’s, Off road days and meets of all kinds and I do hope this will continue. I would also like to wish the new owner all the best for the future and although I will not be around as much as I am now I will be keeping in touch with him with any help or support that he may need with any club history. If there is anything regarding me after the change over then you can contact me on 07886077266 or E-mail me at mick_clarkson@hotmail.com or if it is anything Nissan and Ford Maverick owners club related then please contact the club and its new owner. I hope that during my time with the club I have been able to help you in everyway possible. Good luck to you all and I wish you well for the future. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone. Thank you. Mav (Mick) and Julie. |

All the besr
Hi Mav,
What can i say, From day one you have been an absolute star, always willing to put yourself out for me & many others. The rallies have been a scream especially at the raffles. I really dont know how youve managed to do it, dedication is not the word for it.Hope to see you out & about more now? But more importantly i wish you & julie very merry xmas & a happy new year. All the best in the future Mate. PS. It should also be said a big thank you to Sharkle as it was the two of you that started all in the beggining. All the above goes to Sharkle as well. Both great guys. Cheers Nellie 11 |
