Default radio control 4x4's

any of you guys have radio control 4x4 trucks like the rock crawler type units.. been looking at some by accident on youtube, some are amazingly realistic with working winches and lights etc etc.. even see a few Nissan y60 bodied ones...most seem based on the axial rcx10 (I think).. couldnt really find what I was looking for to price one up, probably because I don't really know what I was looking for.. any pics of what you got??

Been very tempted myself A great deal are custom built in fact not sure if you can buy an off the shelf one, there are loads of RC forums so that will prob be the best place to find out what is needed had loads of info on my old PC but it died & was unable to get anything off it A friend has loads of RC parts like motors, controllers etc so going to see if he wants to donate some to me then maybe build a rock crawler

It'll never never pass a scale MOT with those tints though

I used to have a couple of nitro trucks, sold them 'cos I didn't use them, and if you don't use them regularly they seem to be very bloody awkward to run!
When I'm feeling extra flush I'm going to buy an another HPI Savage but electric this time, welder first tho

I had a axial scx10 , Great fun.

Did a few mods to make it better such as a waterproof speed controller and mounting the battery further forward to aim climbing.

I had a SinYih AX10. I had a few hop-ups on it such as a two-speed gearbox, CVJs, uprated shocks and springs, HD metal-geared servos and a tuned pipe. I keep promising myself I'll get another one of these days. They're seriously good fun
