Default what tuning boxes are people using

Looking for more towing power so what are peeps using and links handy too please mines 2.7tdi 2002

just looked it up, 01257 274100, tunit ii £224 inc vat and del, Rick

Diff lock on rear
3 inch SS straight through exhaust
Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch
10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

depending on age of truck a remap is possible by computer plug in port.

typically around £150, most say lifts 2.7 bhp to closer of 3.0, ie 160....

280 to 340 Nm (206 to 251 lb.ft)

Spoke to my local mapper in Dorset and he wants £300!!! If it was £150 it would have already been done

if your lucky and keep an eye out they sometimes pop up on ebay much cheaper than new. I also think tunit sell 2nd hand ones too?

No, it's wired directly into the ECU behind the centre console.

Bit of a ball-ache to fit, but worth it.
Mine romps up hills in top gear, which before needed a gear change.

Ring them up and speak to them (Tunit), I got mine for £200 delivered a couple of years ago.

Did I not mention Tunit II
As for clutch issues, you need the 3.0 clutch swop . Mine's not been rolling roaded yet but in theory around 180 bhp

You did Pete yes and been on web site and does look the way forward. With clutch swap was it simple change and would it work on mine having later t2 with crank sensor bell housing
