vulcan xh558
If you're in the Manchester / Stockport area this Saturday, then look up to the skies around 3.10pm for a last chance to see this awesome site. XH558 will be flying over Avro's old Woodford site where she was built, dipping her wings in salute.

Assuming it remains serviceable then it'll probably finish the airshow season off in September. The aircrew are really giving it that little bit extra at the displays this year. I think the tour of uk this weekend will be some nice low level fly pasts.
Im over at York on Saturday when it flies over Elvington, hoping it comes over to see us too Failing that I might pop down to Finningley sunday afternoon to see it coming in to land. If you want to see the flight plans and timings for this weekends tour do a google for Vulcan To The Sky Trust. |

Had the old girl over us twice last saturday, one of the joys of living in North Oxfordshire, we seem to be en-route for just about any display aircraft. Had the Red Arrows as well!
I saw her original "Farewell Air Display" at Cranfield in 1992. She's almost like Status Quo ! |
