Default last time I buy parts locally

Having trouble with the auto hubs on my T2, I decided to get manual ones. As I needed them quite urgently, I phoned around and found a pair about 60 miles away.

I did check twice on the phone, mentioning car make, type, year, and the brand + type nr of the hubs. Confirmed twice on the phone by the shop.
So off I go, nice shiny hubs waiting for me. I decided to trial fit one there and then, and indeed... Patrol hubs. Shop (specialized 4x4 garage/breaker) "thought" they were the same
They did offer me a second hand pair, which turned out to be one very sorry looking AVM manual hub, and one broken automatic hub.

From now on, ebay and Milner. Better service, better prices, and at least they know what they are talking about.

I'm thinking of these (German ebay, as it is closer to Belgium). I'm mailing the seller this afternoon for confirmation of type and fit for T2

Bad news on the supplier, I'm sure you'll get sorted out.

Yep - I know where I won't be shopping again. Hubs ordered now, from the link above. Very nice guy on the phone, paypal possible, and within 2 hours after ordering already received a tracking nr. Should be here about Thursday - maybe next week if security at work gets suspicious and blocks the package
