sounds like the floor is rotten and he has had a quote from a welder and shit his pants and wants rid of it, shame looks ok other wise if it was local id buy it and weld it up my self

crazy, 2 hours to go, still £500. At that price, even with some welding, even if breaking, its probably worth it...! Unless there is some major engine/gearbox trouble, its an easy fix and a bargain.

If that guy was a member on here, and if he really wanted to keep it, it could have been sorted quite cheaply.
Maybe the list was the last straw...
