Vauxhall DPF
Bloody cars
Had my vectra in n out of the local garage, in the end changed the DPF and sensor n still bag o Sh!t3. Last week the wife pulled out of the end of the road and the car gave up completely So we dragged it to the garage to have the clever ecu man come n have a look...Typical he's on holiday. So today he turns up for a quick look and within minutes he's bypassed the imobiliser issue and started it "DPF's fekekd" but I just put a new one on said I. Cheap ones don't last a week hes said But if you take the gubbin's out of your old one ( which thankfully I kept) and weld it back up ( so the mot man dosent notice, apparently if it was fitted with one now it has to be there and at least look like it is fitted) he will remap all the problems out. including weeks of diagnostics and investigations Mr garage man wants £180. Today I found out what is inside a Diesel Particulate filter. no wonder they go better without them its like blowing through a clogged up sponge in he zorst. Mr garage man is going to change the DPF for me and give me it back all fixed Hopefully |
