Default 650-700 miles per tank full

I'm getting that amount miles from each tank of derv, I think this is amazing for such a large vehicle, I never thrash the engine but don't drive like a saint all time either.
This is a combination of town and motorway driving, hills and stop starts and I carry quite a lot of tools too.

It costs about £105 per fill up and I normally use the same garage and their price stays quite static £131 per litre.

Oh, I'm talking about my works van by the way, A Vauxhall Vivaro on a 60 plate with 70000 miles on it now.It has always returned well over 600 miles per tank full.

He he. I guessed there was going to be a pun when I read how much it cost to fill up. Never yet managed to break the £100 barrier on a T2.

sent from my phone, sorry for any typo's.

Is that a Vivaro too??
I must admit that my one has been more reliable than both VW Transporters that I had had in the past, All I have had is the occasional bulb go,the 1st set of tyres hit 50000. My next van is going to be a Ford transit custom as that's what my company are going over to next year.
I would defo have a Vivaro agai.n though

our company has just bought two Transit connects and a Custom.
Very well equipped with lots of extras, climate cruise and Bluetooth all essential for the boys on the road these days

don't know about MPGs though

Yep the 1st 1 I had was a 52 , the last 1 I had ,did 250,000 miles and had a power steering pump and a set of injectors at 200,000 mile I much prefer the vivaro to the transit , so much more comfortable just lacking in storage in the front !

I wish the company were staying with Vauxhall's it's the only van made in the UK now.
Such a shame that Transit is made in Turkey now.

The Transits we are getting with come with plenty of toys though..heated seats, satnav, folding mirrors, but I will miss my Vivaro

Being an IT Technician supporting multiple compaines across the country that we've brought from time to time I have to go out in our works van which is a 1.6 Litre BlueMotion VW Caddy, goes like stink and also always returns at least 600 miles out of a tank.

It's just such a drole cabin to sit in, it's so cold, desolate amd baron in there.

Give me an 80's Ford Interior anyday
