Off for a week
Off to Norfolk Saturday for a week. Booked a newly refurbed converted barn, all looking good, hope the two young ones don't wreck it. Should have free WiFi so should still be able to pop in. I have just signed up for Echolink and will be taking my 2mtr/70cm rig (just fitted it to my T2 instead of the handie) and handie with me, so will try to use the local repeaters.
Fingers crossed for the weather and that the hurricane misses us |

Enjoy and Im sure you will. Keep an eye on the skies you may catch a glimpse of the two lancs training. Been thinking about sticking the 8800 in mine whilst Im down in Lincolnshire but to be fair will probably only have time to use on way down and back again.
Not played echolink on computer before, we did have a repeater nearby that was linked but thats long gone now. Its on one of these new digital modes now, was dstar but another mode now so not much use to me. |
