Phone holders
Might seem a daft Q but was wondering if any of you guy's are using a windscreen mounted phone holder & how you rate them & what type you've got. Just i'm after one but don't want one that wobbles about so can use my phone to take vids whilst driving

Good luck with that. I've never found one that stay fixed to screen. I even had to buy a dash stand for my sat nav

I brought one for my Note 2 from Mobile Fun, it was about £14 and was rock solid, I took a few Greenlaning videos in Swindon with it I'll have to try and upload them

Had that prob on my astra coupe as the satnav mount kept falling off every few weeks but it's never fell off the T2's windscreen & it's been on for over a year & am wondering if it's down to this motor having heat reflecting glass at the front end

how is it a satnav can fall off when can seem so secure. one minute feels like
would damage screen if pulled any harder, next its in your lap or foot well. dont dash mounts give more vibration?

I've just ordered a Gripgo from Hong Kong - £2.39, free postage. At that price it's worth trying - if it's c**p not too much lost.

Rub a smear of glycerine on the sucker, then when you stick it to the screen, put a needle under the sucker. Push it hard and slide the needle out. It lets more air out. Then lock it on.
Should be almost permanent, especially if you do it on a hot day. sent from my phone, sorry for any typo's. |
