Help I read yesterday how to use a paper clip to sort out eml can some one point me in the right direction thanks in advanced

Looks like its a no:18
Fuel quality adjuster/position sensor-malfunction. Might as well ask me to speak Russian I have not got a clue can any one help please

I had No18 too, was never anything to do with the pump so don't rush out to replace it yet!

Being an auto ticks over at about 800rpm put it in to gear rpm drops as it should but if I turn the stering wheel so the power stering pump has to work some times the engine cuts out, and when I re start the eml comes on but still drives ok, no power loss or any thing

Check that when the air con is switched on the engine idle speed increases by 100 RPM.

With the air off, when driving and coming to a stop, after around 1~2 seconds stationary the idle speed should drop by 100 rpm to normal idle speed.

there is also a pressure switch on the PS that should increase revs when PS is under load, could be this has failed, Rick
