Visiting Adz
So today is the day for body lift
I'm just praying that the weather says the way it's meant to for today. Stupidly I lost Adz's postcode but I'm heading that way anyway, i think I know where I'm going |

Body lift, having spent hours debating the front and rear bumpers, they will now no longer fit as well... as the gap between the body and bumper will separate by the height of the body lift.
Mind you ... can't look any worse... or can they? Challenge... Best seen as work in progress I think... Next job will be side steps, as the rest of the family won't be able to climb that high to get in lol...

Actually, talking of angle iron, Railway point rodding was brilliant material, it is "U" shaped, approx 45 x45 mm and very heavily galvanised and tough as anything. Would make good side steps, which could act as rock sliders... Now rock sliders must be up there as the most manly accessory.. So Alex's next poject...

Dash cam?
Yeah OK one either side of rear view mirror, one with G sensor and GPS, one either side of windscreen looking through side windows, one on back door window looking for tailgaters .
Every time I see a cheaper better one I get it, I recon I have enough now. |

Don't want to crash this thread, but which DVR do you find the best? I bought a Snooper DVR and if I leave it wired so that it records 24hrs, it will drain the battery down if you have a weeks holiday or don't use the van for a week or so
