A one litre turbo
Whats the world coming to eh, one of the techs at work got his car hit at ace cafe a little while back, so the insurance comp have provided him with a ford fiesta i think? (Some little Chinese engined hatchback)
I was shocked to find it was a 1l turbo engine And pokey at that!! Certainly quicker than a terrano... A tug of war game might end differently though |

Blinkin emission legislation, engines are loosing any form of character.
I used to love my two stroke bikes. What about this for a low emission engine... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmnsXTMLzCE |

Ford do a 3 cylinder 1.0 litre turbo fitted into focus and others. VAG have a 1.2 turbo too and I'm sure there will be others.

modern engines are great I think, I love the old engines, but find it hard to knock a 1 litre turbo engine that can give 60mpg and 90+ bhp (ECOBoost range of engines). Amazing really, but that's the result of emission legislation etc

I can & they were very fast little motors back in the day & were faster than the Escort RS Turbo to 60MPH My brother has just bought one of the new Fiesta 1L turbo's (with auto box) as it was faster than the 1.6L version the big plus for him is the emissions are that low it's free road tax
