Default not been here for a bit

as I wanted to save my tenner fee for a bit but I need to talk and I feel among friends here.

I had a call from someone who I have known and been friends with for 30 years.

his son has just decided enough is enough and took his own life by hanging
I have climbed mountains with him, shared campfires and stories with him.

I am very sorry for sharing espessialy at this time of year.and im not looking for sympathy just needed to talk.
time to get more stonned..

Sorry to hear about that bud, important thing is to remember the good times - I'm sure wherever he is now he's a lot happier.

so he took his own life after a problem with a woman, guess he was besotted and could not accept the real life truth, life can be hard but you need to be realistic, life does not, in fact rarely goes the way you want it, to take your own life in these circumstances is rather sad as it discloses a lack of self esteem, which someone close may have detected, perhaps he had no really close friends to point this out, just shows how important friends are, feel for you mate, Rick

It is very sad that someone has no longer the desire to live.
I understand how someone that is terminally ill would wish to end their life.
But for a fit young person to want to,and indeed do end their life.
They must suffer terrible agonies, just to contemplate it.
Sorry to hear the bad news.Obviously a very hard time for the family involved.

I'm sorry to hear this buddy. I also lost a friend earlier this year in the same way. It's hard to understand why someone would make this decision especially when they have so much going for them.
