Hi all got this for the T2 but does anyone have a filler back plate so I can fit it?

If you have the large stereo you can get them on ebay but your looking at around £100 the single din factory ones need a trimming for the stereo cage to slide in

When I took the standard single DIN out of mine there was 2 brackets screwed to the side of it which went straight on to my Kenwood head unit so the cage and the trim that goes around its face weren't needed. If you search google there's instruction somewhere to remove the dash containing the stereo and heater controls etc and you fit stereo and put this dash panel back over the top of it if you can picture what I mean. All I needed was a harness adaptor for the steering wheel controls.

I have a genuine Nissan adapter plate that came in one of my T2s and I just keep swapping it, is yours the one with the hazard button built into the stereo?

My Sony wouldn't fit in as the screw holes wouldn't line up Hoping Santa is going to bring me a nice new stereo nothing really wrong with the one i've got but it's 6 years old now & I want bluetooth, USB etc

Darn it my stereo is the original cassette unit with a buggered display. I just switch on and see what happens, no need for a fancy plate on mine

Both of mine had and have this problem, I find when the weather is warm or the truck warms up, the display works fine, but when cold, it's all over the place.

I'm not that young & don't run the standard crappy Nissan set up, changed the stereo & the voice coils in all 4 speakers started to fry after a month

Incartec.co.uk sells the fascia adaptor without a hazard switch for £24.99, or try cncfabs, he's breaking cupcakes 03plate so it should be single DIN.
