Terrano 2 speedo pickup please
Well I've been through everything trying to sort my speedo but I have come to the conclusion that as it's just the speedo and odometer affected (everything else is fine) it must be the drive on the gearbox.
So does anyone have the electrical speed sensor from the gearbox of an 2000 Terrano Tdi? |

If the ECU where not receiving the VSS signal I doubt it would drive very well. Simple check: drive the vehicle a few meters then bring to a stop, after about 1~2 seconds at rest the tachometer should drop by 100 RPM, which is the ECU acknowledging the vehicle has stopped and is now in idle. This would confirm the VSS is probably working.
