haha. I will be using previous posts for reference but I will take a few pics.
delivery from jimys bits if anyones interested was very quick but it does still have navara printed on it not like the advert. but before I fit thatI have to jet wash the engine to find the elusive oil leak and tighten a few loose things up. only thing that concerns me is. the top of the snokel has three bolt holes that fix to a bracket(supplied) I don't yet know how im going to fix that to the door pillar? |

half way there. I didn't realise was such a job
the template was useless so we had to guestimate it. with a bit of hole enlargement all the pins fitted still had to take the wing off though and that meant messin about with half the bumper fixings too... the snorkel is now on but not connected till tomoz as it took so long today. Oh and a big hammer was needed too and for those with abs there is no other way but to put a few bends in the fittings but it should still get more air than the tiny original intake hole. |
