It's a push down and back while the truck is stationary and in neutral. If that's done properly and still no drive, have a spy under neath for a linkage problem. Is the truck std or lifted?
Oh welcome by the way |

Hi Mark, welcome to the club.
As said before, you have to push down the 4x4 lever down through neutral, and then back a bit more. This takes a bit of wrist work the first time. If you still can't get 4 low, then if it has had a body lift, then the lever is catching on the surrounding rubber. Others have had similar problems with non use, in that the lever mechanism gets full of crud and needs WD 40 and some elbow grease. I think you can get to it from underneath, but also worth removing the gear knob and shroud and have a look see. Hope this helps, best regards, Rustic

Well that's it then . Lifted truck needs the hi-lo hole opened up a tad at the back to allow the lever to travel the last bit.
Oik the gaiter off and apply mr hammer or mrs grinder to the offending metal. Simples PS, that's more than a tenners worth of info already |
