Looks cheap enough but the back story seems a little implausible.

If you were savy enought to export a vehicle you would check if RHD was allowed in the country before you bought it would you not ?

Only thing is, it is not a T2, which as an exporter, used to filling in export paperwork, you would think he would know, although the interior is closer to the T2, than the T1 we have.

Someone posted up about it on here, with the old advert last week, and it all seemed a bit strange then as well. I would want to have a good look at it before making an offer, but I do like the drive of our T1, so can recommend it from that point of view, although the headroom is a lot lower.

Yeah something not quite right about it.I don't like auto boxes,so not for me.

I know what you mean about the auto box, and was a real "Manual box" lover until my V70auto made me lazy. I was doing a lot of rush hour motorway driving, doing 80K a year, and as it was an auto, and drove so relaxingly, it was perfect for keeping the stress levels down. Now I am not doing the miles though, I prefer my T2 as a Manual, I like being in control when going down hills etc.

Our T1 is an Auto, and I have to say, it is a nice lazy car to drive, when you want to go into town, or negotiate the M25 car park, plus it has all the Power/normal/hold modes on the gear box and suspension, and you can select all the gears manually, so you can drive it like a clutchless manual if you feel like it and can be bothered.
