HOCGB Hyundai owners club
Well my first post at the above club has been closed by the Moderator after a number of members responded with bad experiences at main dealers (not just Hyundai).
The Moderator is a Hyundai Diagnostic Technician so I think there is some conflict of interest. He has gone on holiday so I have started a new post. I fully expect to be expelled any time soon... I think its two strikes and you are out ! ted |

looks like you may of infringed RULE NUMBER EIGHT (of eleven), unless of course, you can prove beyond all reasonable doubt it was fair and reasoned!
http://www.hyundaiownersclub.co.uk/f...p?action=rules 8 Posts attacking the Hyundai Motor Company or any other party associated with Hyundai are NOT permitted. This does not apply to fair and reasoned criticism/reviews of the product range or other elements of the brand. However (for example) the calling for the sacking of any member of the board of directors, or the making of personal, offensive or unsubstantiated comments about them will not be tolerated under ANY circumstances.

It is a prime example of what to consider when buying a vehicle.
Just how much support and understanding for a particular marque is freely available from user based forums? and how are they policed?

Well I like this club the way it is, free and easy, if you do not like a thread ignore it, if you have something to say say it, someone will soon pick you up if you are out of order, but what I really like is the fact it is not just 4 x 4 stuff, anyone joining you will be very surprised what you can learn re totally non 4 x 4 stuff, and we also have Briggies jokes, I rest my case, Rick

I couldn't find your thread. It's too busy that forum. When I get back off holiday I will treat this thread with the contempt it deserves. I'm a technician ya knows

call it the steelers instead of the stealers. "Called up the local Hyundai steelers to book in for a major service..." He specifically says to refrain from calling them "stealers"
