wtf ?
We appreciate that you chose eBay to list the following item:
330940485539 - YAESU FT100D AND ACCESSORIES Unfortunately, your listing breached our policy. This item has not been removed from eBay, but we wanted to bring this to your attention because future breaches could result in listing removal as well as limits on selling privileges. The following information breaches our policy: You have mentioned "may consider a swap or deal for a ft 857d or 706mk2g" in the listing. Listings that offer to trade items aren't allowed, except for listings within a Non-Binding Bid Category. Trading items poses a higher risk of fraudulent transactions. Since no actual payment is being sent, there's no fraud protection by a financial institution (ie. PayPal, Credit Card Company). Offers to trade, either the item for sale or a separate item, aren't permitted. Such offers are in breach of eBay policy even if the seller offers to accept trades for only part of the final payment. You stated in your listing "radio is advertised elsewhere so I may end auction early ". You may not fail to deliver items purchased from you and it should be available to sale through eBay only. When an item receives a bid on eBay, that bid is a legally binding contract between the seller and the bidder. In order to preserve the buying experience on eBay, buyers should have surety that the item they bid on will not change or Creating a listing to advertise an item that you want to trade, or including an offer to trade an item in a listing isn't allowed. To protect both buyers and sellers, members aren't allowed to offer a trade. Because eBay is a place where people buy and sell items, trades often cause confusion about the terms of sale in a listing. This may result in negative feedback or claims being filed. For more information on our policy, go to: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policie...g-no-item.html You can review our policies and seller rules by clicking the links below. Thanks for your understanding. Regards, eBay Trust and Safety team |

Well I can kind of understand the point they are making about trading items. However the end the auction early is used all the time, but often you see I reserve the right to end the action early, dunno if the wording means something or not.
Play the game and re-advertise without the swap bit and see what happens. |
