Default Slindon today

Here is a short vid of a decent from the sand pit, it is a bit shaky (you tube may fix it) as I was holding it with my right hand, best I could, http://youtu.be/2yS0MQwqu4Y

This pic was a little earlier, whoops, Rick

Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

So even a Locka did not stop you getting stuck down there...

Amazing how muddy it still is there, after all this fine weather we have been having, I thought it would be a dust bowl this week.

yep still muddy but lots of areas are dry, that hole was just a little deep, when I was winching I was hanging on to the drivers door as it was close to rolling, the weight with the reinforcing helped, as the rear end slid into the hole it was a little tense and I was about to jump of if it went too far, Rick

Lokka works perfect, came down that slope in 4 wheel 1st gear low box feet off pedals, engine held it all the way no problem, but what I really like is select 2 wheel and it is straight away with no shunting at all, Rick

can I get away with 33s without the hassle of a body lift, like angle grinder and saw to the wings, but do not want to make it look too stupid, but I suppose the way I am bashing the body about, maybe I should be thinking allong the lines of not much body at all, mmmm food for thought, Rick

31"s are pretty good mate with longer shocks and dislocation cones

I was going where Landys on 285s were, I think the Terrano is so much better for not having that front diff in the way like a live axle does, and with the 2" lift it really is surprising

Have you done any suspension lift at all ? If so then yes 33s can be made to fit with some local surgery
That said , for more tyre you'll need more power too
Consider

have only jacked up the front so far, do you think I will need more power even though I am in permanent low box? seems ample power at the moment, Rick
