Grease Points

Been under truck today to have a grease around, found 5 nipples on propshafts and one on steering, but i had to take out a small bolt and put in a grease nipple, whats that about? by i do like that word,nipple,nipple,
sorry went off to dream land then.
are there any more? 94 terrano square headlight. also copper slipped the stop ends.

I think you have found them all, 3 on front prop shaft and 2 on rear.
Note, later Terranos don't have the nipples on the front prop shaft, so tend to wreck the UJ's as they also have fixed front hubs too on some models.
This was a step backwards.

Had a look under my '94, no grease nipples on either propshaft! Odd!

I have nipples on my prop shafts never saw any on steering, where abouts are yours?

Mine has the square headlights too

very odd indeed, could be the shafts have been replaced?? I have not come across an early one yet that did not have greasers, Rick

there are none, there is a blank plug in the idler but I do not think this was meant to be a grease point, as why plug it? Rick

I screwed out the plug and screwed in a grease Nipple give it a pump and grease came out of the bottom so its been greased before? Laurie.

Had my first game of Golf on Sunday with a mate of mine borrowed his Bats and balls did ok ,so might look out for some Bats to practise in local park.

What size or thread was the nipple you fitted, will give my steering a grease up

I have not come across an early one yet that did not have greasers, Rick __________________ Ex banger racer now off road maniac Lokka on the front with manual hubs Diff lock on rear 3 inch SS straight through exhaust Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch 10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole 20% stronger springs all round aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap. Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
