Default Pin stripe & paint help

I'm removeing the old pinstripes on my terrano as the previous owner made a bugger of a job I have got most of the pinstripe off but theres still sticky bits and smeared pinstripe. How do I get this off without ruining the paint?

petrol, or neat thinners make sure u wash it very well afterwards or pariffin if u can get it

hi guy, i got them off, used a hairdryer to get them off then nail polish remover to get the goo off, new stripes are on and look well good
