Default Wanted: LWB Terrano 2 - £1100 Max.

Ideally petrol, manual, type 2, unmodifed, clean, no towbar, regularly serviced etc oh, and not a Maverick.

Cash in hand, buying for a friend who's coming back from overseas in August.

I'm down in West Sussex and something not involving a heinous drive would be good as I need to sort getting the car to Storrington.

I just had to ask: why no tow bar?

couldn't he just take it of if he didn't want one, only 4 bolts

No towbar is a preference. The one I found him has one.

Petrol was also a preference, because I have one and my local garage (finally) know their way round 'em.

Pics? Just the autotrader ad: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...true?logcode=p

I'll try and get his, mine and my other mate's Mav in formation sometime before Xmas.

Well, that's the first time I've seen a Daewoo Terrano!

LOL.

Okay, let's cover the "why not this? why not that?" in one simple reply.

My mate didn't want (the bit you asked about) by preference. It's not a specialised technical decision, it's not hidden knowledge of the advantages of a particular model or component. He told me what he wanted, we chatted through the options and he chose what he liked. Simple.

As the autotrader ad is down now, further shots will have to await owner permission except for the one rear view I got to complement the shots on autotrader:
