so far, i never had a problem with them. nor has anyone i know. i brought my mav, it had a full kwik fit exhaust which came with a 3 year no quibbles guaranteed. the rear tail pipe exhaust mount broke off, i popped in there and they replaced it no probs. it did take them 1hr 1/2 but it was a busy saturday. popping in there again soon because once again the rear tail pipe mount has broken off (the mid box hanger has bust so all the weight is on the rear section).

I left the motor trade last year after many years as a panel beater. I have seen and heard from different places I have worked of Quick Fit wanting to fit unnecessary parts to cars to bump up the bill. I once had a problem on holiday, went into Quick Fit, came out shaking my head and laughing, they must be P drunk I thought, to my surprise got the job done cheaper at a main dealer. Don't get me wrong they cant all be bad, but they have got a reputation

Default Well I've just turned down a quote from Kwik fit (up)

they wanted £195 for the mid box and £95 for the back part of the T2 exhaust... once I said " !!!!.... that's a bit steep" he started bringing it down.... I always walk away from people who start knocking down the price when they meet resistance.....

ATS got the business @ £150 mid box and £50 back fitted and 4 x 265's @ £60 each ....... ouch !!

although I may look into fleabay for my next one though considering it's £99 !!!

passed it's MOT though

I got my front section of exhaust pipe fitted for £106 :00 at Kwik-fit Cwmdu, Swansea with a 3 year guarantee. Although they didn't have one in stock, they said they could have one delivered within an hour. I went and did some shopping, came back in just under an hour, and the part was there waiting for me. A.T.S. had quoted me £140:00 , but I would have to wait 4 days for them to get one in. Needless to say, Kwik-fit will be my first port of call next time I have an exhaust problem.

I felt the same, I got Qwik fit to do the front, seemed cheap enough at the time, middle and rear is a doddle to do yourself.
