'Tis Mine!!!!
" 'Ere y' gew!", as they say hereabouts in Silly Suffolk; my latest acquisition, to replace my brutally-upended Daihastu Sportrak - one chunky-looking Ford Maverick SWB 2.7TDi!
It looks black in the picture, but it's more like black cherry - is that the right description of what seems a rare colour? |

That's a nice looking motor, doesn't look at all tired does it for a P reg. Clivvy has pretty much identical motor.

Clivvy - loads of MX5's about in East Anglia, at decent prices, too; my missus has always wanted one, so when I found an automatic Eunos, I jumped at it...
R1cho - won't be getting muddy in this 'un - my hip, back & neck won't stand anything more than a flat field, I'm afraid! Got the Mav purely as a deal to get shot of a busted MR2, and to replace my poor ol' up-ended Sportrak...tho' I hope I won't live to regret the purchase, after today's shenanigans... |

oh itll work out mate, these are tough trucks, and nothing you described in your other post sounds major, in fact, its the usual same old with these, and easy to fix. it comes from folk not looking after their motor properly! in fact, worst case scenario based on what you said, is that you might have a faulty ckp, its a DIY job, but expensive....
MX5...yup, i hope to have one some day, im a big fan of the 90's mazda range and plan to own at least one of each at some point. So far I have an MX6 and MX3, but im breaking the MX6 as it now needs too much work, such a shame, what a motor! used to have a 323f, and that was just superb, super megga quiet engine, loved it. |

Ok, now I've been driving it a while, I've realised that a manual 'box is not the best thing for me; it's a good one, drives fine, etc - but my joints in my left leg/hip are protesting painfully!
Anyone out there interested in a swap for an automatic Mav'/Terrano/WHY? Doesn't need to be cosmetically perfect - this one isn't - just tidy-ish and must be reliable. Petrol or diesel - I don't care... Fitted a new exhaust, battery, filters, etc... |
