Think probably that was Empire Stores, seem to remember they got swallowed up by Great Universal Stores (GUS), as far as I know Empire Direct was a different (internet only) company. We bought our Panasonic tv from them and the 5 year warranty isn't up yet, be interesting if it goes wrong!
