I dont see how you can single out THIS government as it was Brown's mob that stuck the present set of duty rises on
However I do think they should sort something out , erm like kick some ass in Libea Meanwhile back in the real world..................STICK SOME BIO IN IT........... You could buy a lot of that for the price of a "cheap" wedding |

"Browns Mob" will be blamed for lots of things to come. I'm not trying to defend them but it's not all them, in fact I get quite cross that people mainly the current government just sit there saying it wasn't me it was them instead of actually getting off their lazy backsides and doing something constructive. "This Government" has allowed so far 1 duty rise which could of been quoshed and the next one due in a couple of weeks could well be stopped IF THEY WANTED TO!!! Also we had a VAT rise in January this year which was brought in by "THIS GOVERNMENT". Don't forget as the wholesale price of fuel goes up due to world events the revenue from duty and vat also go up.
Conclusion of this is that it doesn't matter who is in government we the people will suffer because we let them do this. Jim |

Don't disagree but part of the problem is that these are part of long term tax planning, and it often takes a long time for things to even out so that the effect of a particular tax change can be assessed. So in the first 1-2 years of any new government theres always tax changes attributed to "that lot" which the then government has no choice but to implement because to not do so just leaves a hole in public finances to be filled from elsewhere. |

I'm not pro this lot either but any amount of protest wont really do anything for more than a day or two. Everyone is too skint and paranoid to properly rebel.
SO just buy as much alternative fuel as you can. Once the garages start seeing sales fall over a proper amount of time THEN things might start to change. SO I SAY AGAIN .............GET SOME BLOODY BIO or veggie as it's getting warmer |
